Welcome to the 16th International Cryocooler Conference!

Abstract Submission | Final Paper Submission


All abstracts are due Jan. 22, 2010.

Abstracts addressing research and development in all aspects of cryocooler science and technology are invited. Analytical and experimental investigations are also welcome.

Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Tactical military cryocoolers
  • Very low temperature (less than 4 K) cryocoolers
  • Aerospace cryocoolers
  • Advanced cryocooler component technology
  • Commercial and laboratory cryocoolers
  • Stirling, pulse tube, or hybrid cryocoolers
  • Cryocooler electronics
  • Advanced analysis and modeling techniques
  • Reverse Brayton cryocoolers
  • Cryocooler applications - military
  • Cryocooler applications - civilian
  • Sorption cryocoolers
  • Emerging future - generation cryocooler technology
  • Miniaturization of cryocoolers
  • Micro-scale/MEMS-enabled cryocooler technology

Complete technical papers are due by 5 p.m. on the first full day of the conference, May 17, in the Publications Room. Please bring the following:
  • An electronic version on a CD or flash drive
  • One print-ready hard copy
  • Three additional hard copies for use by the reviewers
All papers will be peer reviewed for format and technical content prior to selection for publication in the conference proceedings, Cryocoolers 16. Strict adherence to the established format is required for consideration. Links to the detailed formatting instructions as well as templates for both Letter and A4 formats are provided below:
